Pay: £12.41 per hour
Contract Type: Full time

Peterborough Limited are recruiting for a permanent Ranger to work in Peterborough Flag Fen.

Flag Fen is designated as a scheduled ancient monument for its internally significant archaeology. Although not designated for nature, it provides important habitat for red listed species that thrive in the fen edge wetlands. Our vison for the future is to develop and implement a fenland restoration project, that will not only help the site cope with the effects of environmental change and the gradual desiccation of the fens, but also connect people to Flag Fen’s countryside through experiences that inspire, educate and entertain, leading people to share and develop our vision. We want our visitors and stakeholders to ensure that Flag Fen is accessible for people of all ages to discover wildlife and connect with nature and the rich pre-historic discoveries that we are able to showcase.
